Together with Encoins and Módulo P, we developed an implementation of the Proof of Innocence protocol on Cardano. The solution uses Zero-Knowledge Proofs to allow users to prove their funds are not associated with criminal activity—without revealing their identity.

We conducted a technical analysis of the protocol and chose the most suitable proving system for Cardano.

We designed the architecture and protocol specification for secure blockchain integration.

We developed and tested a smart contract in Aiken, along with a custom ZK circuit for Cardano.

We parallelized the cryptographic algorithms of Stwo, the fastest ZK prover, on GPU—achieving performance far beyond the most advanced CPU-based (AVX) optimizations.
